dont ask me, i just work here

Hey guys. My name is keith buckley and I sing for a band called Every Time I Die. Recently I was given the opportunity of posting blogs here on FOE in my own neatly packaged section. I think. I don’t really know how this works because I don’t normally do this too often and in real life im not the kind of person that would ever tell people what I think if they didnt personally show a genuine interest in my opinion but here I know there are select writers from all different bands and once I was told I would have this blog and officially be a part of a choice group I told all my old friends to go fuck themselves, that I was big time now because I had a place where I could go and write what I think. I also pretended to be them on the phone and called their bosses and told them he or she had a super small weiner or boobs. whatever the case may be. Then I went to those I know are closest them, like a boyfriend or girlfriend and I watched them from a distance and I developed a completely unfounded assessment of their character. Then I went back to the person I used to care about and told them that the thing they loved most was ugly and probably unfaithful and then I made fun of my old friends clothes and the way they comb their hair and who they spend their time with, despite the fact that I once wore clothes like that and combed my hair the same way because I felt a dire need to just be a PART of something. To be accepted and acclimated into a social clique that I felt, through the unlettered and adorably naïve filter of adolescence, was the only thing that mattered in the world. It was healthy then, but now that I have the internet, its just totally lame. And I KNOW its lame because now im on the internet and I have a whole group of people that agree with me and when you’re on the internet and you’re big time like I am now its not enough to just insult the person whom you irrationally decide you no longer like or have anything in common with. You have to completely disassemble everything they had previously adapted as universal maxims, particularly after some 20 years of making peace with who they are. They are NOT good people. What they do is NOT worth while. They do not make a difference. at least not to people that are on the computer like me. i would be very worried that one day this all might come back to bite me in the ass, except for the fact that now im on the internet and I will never have to take responsibility for ANYTHING I say because the internet is a completely lawless society and that’s why I love it here. “www” should stand for “wild wild west”. I just made that up. Im super clever sometimes. right guys? I totally knew it. well, I have to go now. I just heard something on a tv in the other room and I need to go find out who said it to see if I agree or not. It was nice to meet you. this does count as meeting right? you don’t actually need to interact with anyone to be friends anymore on this thing do you? cool. Later.
