i never saw his lips move

what i realized this morning was that if anyone ever really wanted to be a ventriloquist but could not get a grasp on exactly how to throw their voice, all they had to do was stand with their back to the crowd. they would essentially be perpetuating the same illusion as any GREAT ventriloquist, whose only difference is a preference to face forward.
